How Carbon Desk works
A specialist job board for carbon markets, CBAM, compliance and decarbonization — and how the roles on it get here.
Carbon Desk is a specialist job board for carbon markets, CBAM, compliance and decarbonization. It exists because these roles are scattered across general climate boards and company career pages, where they're often mis-tagged or buried — a lead verifier reads as a generic auditor, a CBAM declarant role as ordinary trade compliance.
How it works
- We pull real, open roles every day from employers' own applicant-tracking systems and career pages.
- Every role is screened for genuine carbon relevance — the work that moves credits, builds projects, verifies tonnes or keeps companies compliant — not "sustainability" in general.
- We tag each role the way the market actually works: market (compliance vs voluntary), standard, function, project type, region and seniority — so you can filter precisely.
- Every listing links straight to the employer's own application page. We're not a middleman and we don't collect your application.
- The board refreshes automatically each day, and links that have gone dead are pruned.
Who runs it
Carbon Desk is run independently by people who work in and around carbon markets. We keep the brand focused on the roles rather than personalities — the signal is the quality of the listings, not whose name is on the masthead. Questions, corrections or an opt-out request: email [email protected].
Why a specialist board
A general climate board can't tell an Article 6 MRV role from a corporate ESG job, or surface a CBAM embedded-emissions specialist among thousands of unrelated listings. Depth is the point: the filters, the tagging and the screening all rest on knowing how this market works.
