About the Role As a Wastewater Process Engineer at CREW, you will contribute to process design, biological treatment data analysis, optimization, as well as technical implementation of CREW’s process intensification and carbon removal systems at wastewater treatment facilities. You will use your knowledge of process modeling and engineering, aqueous chemistry, and wastewater operations to help the company achieve both treatment goals and greenhouse gas removal.

You will facilitate CREW’s scientific and engineering innovations into scalable, real-world systems. Working between the R&D, Ops, and Platform teams, you will analyze and interpret lab and operational process data from CREW’s deployments to identify opportunities and drive action and optimizations. This will include designing and refining process flow diagrams, developing mass and energy balances, supporting demonstration and full-scale deployments, troubleshooting process performance in the field, documenting protocols, and driving customer success at partner sites.

Responsibilities - Develop process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and dosing system designs to meet project goals. - Coordinate with the R&D and Operations teams to translate lab results and field data into insights and actions, including technical presentations/reports, data-driven operating decisions, and recommendations.

- Address process issues and propose technical solutions to wastewater partners, which could include process modeling, technical engineering analyses, data analyses, etc. - Serve as a technical touch-point for wastewater process and process-mechanical support
